Kelsey Grammer, and his (unknown) partners, are pitching a new cable network called Right Network to be rolled out this summer. The intention of the new network is to present humor, informal political commentary, reality/documentary pieces, etc. from a conservative point of view. Not only could this kind of network be competitive with Fox News, having the potential to make both networks better, but also could be a real entertainment and educational alternative to other (left-leaning) cable networks.
The timing of Right Network could not be better. As we become more and more conscious of the progressive agenda of the radical left, it becomes increasingly frustrating to find programming that deals with subjects in a factual manner. Networks like, The Science Channel, Discovery Channel, The History Channel, etc. all fall prey at one time or another to a leftist subtext. There is a myriad of possible directions that programming could take on the new Right Network. Climate change, eco-imperialism, educational indoctrination, the politicization of scientific inquiry, economics and non-revised history all come to mind.
If Mr. Grammer and his associates can seize this very teachable moment, the Right Network could be a resounding success. Watch the five clips below, and tell me what you think.
